How Garment Remodelling Works
Garment remodelling is ideal when a piece still has value but no longer suits your style or fit. We review the garment, discuss what can be changed, and shape a plan that respects the fabric and its original structure.
Some projects focus on dress and skirt remodelling, while others involve shirt and jacket restyling or a vintage-garment fit update. If the material allows it, we may also suggest a fabric-reuse accessory project to give leftover sections a useful second life.
Thoughtful redesign starts with the fabric you already own.
At Tailor's Touch, each project begins with a close look at construction, condition, and fit limits before any quote is confirmed.
Because every garment is different, the final scope depends on seam allowances, fabric condition, and available materials. Matching thread, trims, or other components can be discussed, but exact matches are only confirmed when availability is checked.
Our process is clear from the start: inquiry, assessment, redesign consultation, scope and quote, approval, remodelling, review, and collection. Fit checks are included at collection so you can review the finished result before taking it home.
